REPUBLIC OF NEW AFRIKA MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS DELIVERS LETTER TO U.S. GENERAL MICHAEL LANGLEY AT THE UNITED STATES LIASON OFFICE OF THE AMERICAN EMBASSY IN GUINEA BISSAU.

April 30, Bissau - In support of the International Day of Solidarity with Burkina Faso, The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Provisional Government of the Republic of New Afrika (PGRNA), Mr. Siphiwe Baleka, delivered a letter addressed to General Michael Langley, US Commander of AFRICOM, at the United States Liason Office in Bissau, Guinea Bissau.

Minister Baleka lamented the fact that Guinea Bissau Minister of the Interior, Aladje Botche Candé and Chief of the Guinean Armed Forces, Biague Na Ntan both made threatening statements that “the Government will not allow acts of disorder” and declared a zero-tolerance policy against anyone who tries to disturb the stability of the country, making it clear that there will be no room for agitators. The statementscome following the signing of a political agreement in Paris between the two main opposition coalitions, PAI TERRA RANKA and API KABAS GARANDI.

“Former President Umaro Sissoco Embaló continues to cling to power after nearly everyone agrees that his Presidential term expired at midnight on February 28th. Political kidnappings continue while the United States Drug Enforcement Agency is in Guinea Bissau extradicting suspected drug runners with no extradition treaty and the political opposition runs to France for help,” lamented Minister Baleka. “So while some parts of Africa are rising up and supporting the African Revoultion, the Burkinabe people and their beloved leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the people in Guinea Bissau are being coerced by intimidation and the constant parading of security forces. This made it nearly impossible for the people of Guinea Bissau to join African people around the world and openly and peacefully show their support during the International Day of Solidarity with Burkina Faso. So I felt compelled to to do something today, on behalf of both the Republic of New Afrika, as well as the people of Guinea Bissau, to stand in solidarity with Burkina Faso while the ordinary Guinean is preoccupied with the tense situation in Bissau” said Minister Baleka who visited Burkina Faso in May of 2024 as part of the diaspora delegation led by H.E. Ambassador Arikana Chihombori Quao.
